This briefing video is done by Action Grantee Sally Snow. Power to Protect is a short film that introduces key interaction guidelines that every tourist should be following when interacting with marine animals in the Philippines. Delivered by local communities at the heart of marine wildlife tourism in the Philippines, theses guidelines are brought to life by iconic marine species present in the Philippines: sharks, whale shark, turtles, cetaceans... The film is the final film from Their Future Our Future, a video campaign to raise awareness on marine wildlife interaction protocol in anticipation of the launch of new national marine wildlife interaction guidelines in the Philippines. Guidelines are in place to protect not only the marine wildlife we interact with, but also the community who's livelihood relies on the welfare of the animal and the local environment. Play your part. Interact with wildlife responsibly. Learn more about Sally's project here.
