CMG Action Grant Awarded to Hurricane Island Foundation

The Hurricane Island Foundation is the most recent recipient of our Action Grant to support their new "Off-shore, Off-line, Off-the-grid" campaign. We will be providing a matching grant of $9,500 to the foundation for the production, post-production, and distribution of a series of short videos, as well as measurement of the campaign's impact; the campaign will launch in late 2015.

First CMG Fellow begins post at Sailors for the Sea

At our 2015 summer Catalyst Workshops we connected with a great group of organizations, activists and filmmakers — and since the workshops, we've been diligently working on how to continue those relationships. Our most recent news is that we've helped to place workshop Rhode Island filmmaker, Ayla Fox, in a fellowship position with at Sailors for the Sea and ocean conservation non-profit focused on the boating community.

Announcing the CMG Action Grant Finalists at Jackson Hole

Conservation Media Group (CMG) & the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival (JHWFF) are excited to announce a set of 8 talented finalists in our CMG Action Grant Pitch. CMG will be awarding at least one $5,000-$10,000 grant during JHWFF for a project that uses video to create measurable action in ocean conservation or sustainable energy. Finalists attend a one-on-one pitch session with CMG commissioners in Jackson Hole on Wednesday, September 30 or October 1, 2015.

Conservation Media Group (CMG) & the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) are excited to announce a talented set of 8 finalists in our CMG Action Grant Pitch. CMG will be awarding at least one $5,000–$10,000 grant during CIFF for a project that uses video to create measurable action. Finalists are awarded a full-access pass to the festival in Camden, Maine & attend a one-on-one pitch session with CMG commissioners on Friday, September 18th.
