Everywhere we look we see proposals for new high-voltage, direct current transmission lines. In Maine, Vermont, and New York, new north-south high-voltage direct-current lines are being proposed completely underground or underwater; even Hydro-Québec itself is advancing an underground transmission project to connect with New York. Everywhere we look we see new, innovative underground transmission technology proposals. Everywhere except New Hampshire.
Governor Hassan, before you host the New England Governors and the Eastern Canadian Premiers here in New Hampshire this July, please make it clear that New Hampshire welcomes each of them to our magnificent state. But please also convey the message that we will insist on smart, well-planned energy projects that advance a clean energy future and we will not welcome any overhead extension cords like Northern Pass that provide little benefit to the state, at the expense of our natural and scenic resources.
I plan on purchasing a home in Pittsburg in the near future as my full time residence I chose New Hampshire because of its pristine beauty Don't spoil Gods country please

I am an avid hiker in the White Mountains and the rest of the state. I want future generations to enjoy what I have enjoyed so far. I certainly want to enjoy the wilderness without man made structures muddying the view. There are alternatives.

I own a beautiful piece of land in Campton. It's very near the proposed route. All of my hopes to build a retirement home would be ruined. Can't we stop this project?? I have to stand with all of the landowners to prevent this.
