Faith-Based Solar Campaign Underway

Michelle Benham received one of our Action Grants this fall and is putting it to work in North Carolina with her Faith in Solar campaign. CMG awarded Michelle an $8,000 grant at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival after hearing her pitch for her project that will be used to mobilize faith-based communities in a fight against Duke Energy. The company is attempting to suppress access to individual solar production.

#MakeShareChange in the Philippines

One of our newest Action Grant recipients, Sally Snow, is hard at work on the My Future is Your Future campaign, part of her organization's efforts to pass a new marine wildlife interaction law in the Philippines. CMG awarded Sally and LAMAVE, The Large Marine Vertebrate Research Institute Philippines, a $10,000 grant at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival to produce and distribute the My Future is Your Future video campaign.

Production of Protecting the Salish Sea is Underway

CMG is very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Jessica Plumb as one of our 2015 Action Grant recipients. We met Jessica at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival where she was a finalist in our pitch competition. We awarded her a $5,000 matching grant for the production and distribution of her project, Protecting the Salish Sea, which recently started production.
