Oceans & Plastic Catalyst Workshop - Now Accepting Applications

We are currently accepting applications for our 2017 Oceans & Plastic Catalyst Workshop, which runs from May 1-4, 2017. Whether you’re working to stop ocean pollution at its source, reduce the amount of plastics already in the ocean, or protect beloved species from trash pollution, this is the workshop for you. Organizations working toward a plastic-free ocean will be paired with filmmakers and strategists to come up with a concept video for their organization's campaign with a focus on creating measurable impact.

Our Catalyst Workshops gather activists, strategists, social media experts, filmmakers and conservation organizations together for a 4-day retreat at Alnoba just an hour north of Boston. This is an incredible opportunity to network, learn new strategies, and collaborate on campaigns that create impact. Workshop attendees and organizations are also considered for grant and fellowship opportunities - in fact, our workshops are the best way to get to know us for future funding opportunities.

If you're a filmmaker, media maker or interested in working on plastic pollution campaigns - this workshop is for you. Learn more about the Oceans & Plastic Workshop and apply HERE! Organizations with campaigns focused on oceans & plastics are encouraged to contact us directly at info@conservationmediagroup.org to find out about workshopping one of your upcoming or current campaigns at the retreat.

This is the third consecutive year that we are hosting Catalyst Workshops at Alnoba. To learn more about past workshops check out our 2015 Workshops and 2016 Workshops pages.

We will be hosting two additional workshops in Fall of 2017, with topics to be determined - so be sure to sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know when these details are released!
