Hurricane Island Foundation Releases First of Three Videos

CMG is proud to announce that the Hurricane Island Foundation has released the first of three videos for their campaign, Off-shore, Off-line, Off-the-Grid. Their first film, Off-line, encourages their audience to unplug from their busy, technology-driven lives and experience Hurricane Island.  The Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership has marine ecology, island sustainability & other programs for middle and high school students, plus courses for teachers & adults like wilderness medicine training. Off-line urges viewers to sign up now for their Middle and High School Summer Science Programs on their website.

As part of CMG's 2015 Catalyst Workshops, Hurricane Island 's Director Sam Hallowell worked with independent filmmakers Jay Sia and Rita Chengying to develop a 3-part campaign & video concept. Following the workshops, CMG awarded the Hurricane Island Foundation an Action Grant to continue production on this series of videos to raise awareness about Hurricane Island and all the opportunities that take place there.
